●当該年度においては、以下の作業が行われた。(1)『主税局年報書』をデータソースとして、戦前期の以下の業種に関して、道府県別に、営業税データの入力が完了した。運河業、運送業、貨物陸揚業、金銭貸付業、銀行業、桟橋業、写真業、出版業、信託業、製造業、請負業、席貸業、船渠業、船舶碇繋業、倉庫業、代弁代理業、仲立業、周旋業、仲買問屋業、鉄道業、土木請負業、物品貸付業、物品販売業、保険業、無尽業、旅人宿業、料理店業、労力請負業入力した項目は、以下の通り。税額、営業人員(兼業及び本業)、営業場数(兼業及び本業)、売上金額(卸売及び小売)、資本金額、建物賃貸価格、従業者業、職工・労役者数(2)営業税に関して、その税制上の地位を確認した。(3)以上の業種に関して、各道府県別に、時系列的に、データの入力結果から判るファクト・ファインディングスを検出した。(4)営業税データを用いて主成分分析を実施し、戦前期の在来産業の全国的展開を数量的に検討し、戦前期の在来産業の全国的な展開は、「西高東低」型であったことを実証した。
