英文摘要
Evaluation of the effects of the human body on antenna characteristics has highly been demanded from the viewpoint of the design and development of mobile communication devices used near the body. On the other hand, the quantitative evaluation of the effects of the electromagnetic waves radiated from these devices on the human body has also been demanded. It is impossible, however, to conduct the experimental evaluation using the real human body. Therefore, we must produce not only the numerical human-body model but also the experimental one and develop the evaluation system using the model. Under such backgrounds, we have performed the research on the development of the human-body phantom for microwave. In 1998, we developed the biological tissue-equivalent solid phantoms for microwave and proposed the evaluation system of interaction between the phantom and microwave on the basis of thermographic method. Moreover, we evaluated the SAR inside the human body by using the developed phantom and system. We also developed the human-head real-model phantom. In 1999, the biological tissue-equivalent phantoms for microwave mainly composed of glycerin were developed to improve the preservation. Moreover, we evaluated the interaction between the human body and the antenna at 150 MHz corresponding to the mobile communication devices used in the fields of police, fire fighting and broadcast.Consequently, we could establish the simple evaluation system of interaction between the human body and the electromagnetic waves. We could also develop the biological tissue-equivalent phantom for microwave with high preservation. We would like to expect that our results is used for evaluation of the effects of the electromagnetic waves radiated from mobile communication devices on the human body. As a further study, we are aiming at the high precision of our evaluation system and the improvement of our phantoms.
