项目摘要

オノマトペの同値類への分割実験の分析過程で,得られた知見として,清音と濁音間の関係に着目することで,聴覚障害児の音声言語概念の獲得機構に重要となる知識が明らかとなった.すなわち,(コロコロ,ゴロゴロ),(トントン,ドンドン)などの清音と濁音とのペアは,共通の基底概念が存在し得るが,(クンクン,グングン)のペアには,共通の基底概念は認められない.このことは対応する比喩表現の比較からも明らかである.これらの関係の体系化は,効率良く視覚障害児がオノマトペを学習する支援機構を実現する際に重要な要素となると考えられる.例えば,軽く小さなものが転がる様を清音で表現されるオノマトペ(コロコロ)とし,大きな重いものが転がる様を濁音で表現されるオノマトペ(ゴロゴロ)という概念を学習した場合,同様の推論により,匂いをかぐしぐさを表現する「クンクン」に対して,より強く匂いをかぐしぐさを「グングン」と推論・獲得することを訂正する機構(関連付け)を提供する必要がある.そのため,今後,この清音と濁音との関係に着目した,オノマトペの分類・体系化を行なうため,選定リストを見直し,この基準軸から得られる体系化を試みる予定である.
