本研究課題は、「性格の異なる利用形態」や「性格の異なる複数学部にまたがる大量利用者」を対象とした"大規模複合型情報システム"の利用状況から、新時代の情報サービスのあり方を研究することが目標である。以上の観点から本年度は以下の研究を行った。(1)利用ログの分析による利用者動向の把握利用者の行動特性把握の一環として、広島大学総合情報処理センターが運営する大規模複合型情報システム(登録者約2万人)のインターネットサーバの利用ログを分析を実施した。全利用者を対象として、センターからの定期的なパスワード変更警告の電子メールに対する利用者の行動パターンを分析し、警告メールの効果を評価した。その結果同じ方法で何度も警告を行っても利用者の慣れにより、警告効果が大幅に減少すること把握された。(成果発表「利用者パスワード変更促進手法と評価」)(2)利用者へのアンケート調査による利用動態評価多目的オープンスペースの利用動態を、WWWによる利用者(学部1,2年生が主)へのアンケート調査により分析した。(成果発表「多目的オープンスペースにおける情報システムの利用動態」)(3)アカウント体系の検討多目的性を有する複合型情報システムの入口であるアカウントの体系を、利用者の責任性を明確にすることにより、セキュリティ意識の向上を狙って、一人一アカウント制とし、個人の立場での利用を原則とするように、新システム導入時に改変した。この新アカウント体系の評価を行い、セキュリティ意識の向上面での成果はみられたものの、公的な仕事で情報システムを利用する場合(例えば授業や事務業務)に、個人の立場では不都合を感じるユーザが少なからず存在することが明らかになった。個人の立場と公的な立場を情報システム利用の場面でどのように実装するかが今後の課題である。(成果発表「アカウント体系再編の評価」)

This research topic is aimed at studying the utilization status of large-scale complex information systems and the methods of information services in the new era.
