1.昨年度から引き続き、近江坂田郡の土豪井戸村氏の土地所有について分析した。具体的には、15世紀半ばの当該地域における土地制度と井戸村氏の土地所有の内容、16世紀の動乱期におけるその変容、近世における井戸村氏の土地所有の特質、などを検討した。この論文は近く学術雑誌に発表する予定である。2.吉田ゆり子著『兵農分離と地域社会』の書評を、補訂して発表した。3.かつて分析したことのある信州佐久郡下海瀬村の近世前期の開発や村運営について、新たな研究をうけて再検討した。4.以前から継続して行ってきた、近世前期の村落構成と土地制度に関する研究を論文にまとめた。具体的には、近江国坂田郡八条村をとりあげて、兵介家という有力百姓家の土地・被官売券や土地帳簿、村の検地帳・名寄帳、その他の年貢帳簿を組み合わせて分析し、兵介家の譜代下人等による手作経営、作徳小作関係の未成立、特異な被官関係の意味、八条村独特の土地制度の意味、などを明らかにした。5.久我家領山城国久我庄における、中・近世移行期の年貢収取体制の変容を分析した。6.畿内近国における、(1)戦国期の土地制度(小領主、農民的土地所有、村請制)、(2)太閤検地の石高と名請人、豊臣政権の年貢収取法の意義と実態、(3)近世初期における村落構成(朝尾直弘氏の小領主論、佐々木潤之助氏の名田地主論、水本邦彦氏の初期村方騒動論)、のそれどれについて、研究史上での議論を総括し、問題の所在を明らかにする論文をまとめた。
