Planning of Facility Related to the Medium in University Campus

1)对高校校园媒体相关设施的实际情况进行了调查，掌握了高校校园媒体相关设施的组织、功能、建筑、使用情况等特点。将与信息相关的图书馆和设施组合分为组织侧和设施侧四种融合模式，明确了融合的实际情况。组织建设统一型占全部聚变设施的6.8%。与媒体相关的设施按图书馆、信息处理教育和个人使用计算机三项功能的组合分为八类。然后，我们解释了分类、面积和建筑之间的关系。具有三种功能的聚变设施占8.9%，其中许多设施是近10年才建成的。2)通过联合研究了其优势和存在的问题。在组织和建筑完全融合式方面，有很多优势，特别是在建筑和设备方面。但在设施的扩建和重建方面也存在一些问题。3)对先进的融合设施进行了实地考察，了解了先进融合设施的使用情况、优势、存在的问题和未来的规划。明确了融合的形式在组织端和建设端都可能是多种多样的，在管理端和对网络学习的支持方面都存在问题。4)对融合设施的先进案例--武藏工业大学横滨校区的信息媒体中心进行了问卷调查。联合的效果表现在可用性和访问频率方面。

1)We investigated about the actual conditions of facilities related to the media at the university campuses, and grasped the characteristics concerning organizations, functions, buildings, and conditions of utilization of the facilities. Combinations of Libraries and facilities related to the information were classified in four fusion patterns about the organization side and the facility side, and the actual conditions of the fusion were cleared. The "organization and building unified type" accounts for 6.8% of all the fusion facilities. Facilities related to the medium were classified in eight groups by the combination of three functions, library, information processing education and the personal use of the computer. Then, we explain relations between the classification, the area and the construction. The fusion facilities that have three functions accounts for 8.9%, and many of these facilities were built recently in 10 years.2)We investigated the advantage and the problem by uniting. In the organization and building complete fusion type, there are a lot of advantages, especially the building and equipment side. But there are some problems in respect of extension and rebuilding of facilities. As for the type which the information function added to the library, there are the problems of technology skill of the staff and an increase of a kind of service.3)We conducted the field survey of the advanced fusion facilities, and understood about the conditions of utilization, the advantages, the problems, and the plans in the future. It was clarified that the form of fusion might be various in both organization side and building side, and the management side and the support to e-learning have problems.4)We conduct the questionnaire survey of the information media center in the Musashi Institute of Technology Yokohama campus which is the advanced case of the fusion facilities. An effect by uniting appears on a respect of usability and visit frequency.
