项目摘要

平成15年度は、上半期に研究発表と現地調査を実施し、下半期には研究成果に基づいた論文執筆に専念した。上半期には、まず5月に日本中東学会の第19回年次大会(第4分科会、於立命館アジア太平洋大学)において、研究課題の一部であるエジプトのムスリム同胞団の活動について発表した。具体的な内容は、エジプトのムスリム同胞団指導部が第2次湾岸危機(1990〜1991年)をどう解釈し、どのように行動したかを当時の論説を通じ明らかにするものであった。なお左記研究発表は平成14年度科学研究費補助金研究課題の成果の一部でもある。7月から8月にかけては、ヨルダン・ハーシム王国にて現地調査並びに資料収集を実施した。そこでは、平成15年6月18日に実施された第14次ヨルダン下院総選挙におけるヨルダンのムスリム同胞団とその傘下政党「イスラーム行動戦線(IAF)」の動向を把握する事に努めた。また、それらとは別に第2次湾岸危機当時のヨルダン政府-ヨルダンのムスリム同胞団関係や第12次ヨルダン下院(1993〜1997年)での同胞団並びにIAFの活動に関連した資料を収集した。下半期には、平成14年度の研究課題継続、そして15年度上半期に実施した発表と調査に基づいた論文の執筆に努めた。発表予定の論文は、第2次湾岸危機におけるヨルダンのムスリム同胞団運動の主張と活動に関する事例研究(『立命館国際研究』、平成16年4月刊行予定)である。その他、15年度5月の研究発表内容に基づいた論文を完成させ、学会誌(『日本中東学会年報』第20-1号)に投稿を済ませた(審査中)。また発展途上国政治研究図書用に、現代エジプト政治史に関する論文を執筆した。それ以外にも、15年度のヨルダン現地調査に基づいた論文を目下執筆中である。平成14〜15年度の研究の成果全体については今後内容を整理し、1年以内を目途に著書(単著)としての刊行を目指す。
