本研究は、土着的な産業及び伝統社会の文化的構造を基礎として形成される子どもの経験領域の全体を「子どもの生活世界」として捉え、そこで行われる子どもの社会化の全体構造の中で学校教育の機能を問うものである。このためフィールド調査に基づき、インド農村において学校普及化が及ぼした影響を、(1)産業・経済活動、(2)社会的規範、(3)言語文化の変容の3視点から検証することがその目的である。平成14年度は(1)関係資料の収集、(2)本調査の実施洗練を行うこととした。'当初の計画では2002年7月から8月にかけて60日間程度の現地調査を行う予定であった。しかし、アフガニスタン情勢の緊迫化に伴い、政府よりインドにおける日本人の待避勧告が出されたため、同時期の調査は断念せざるを得なかった。このため本年度は国内における資料収集をより徹底したほか、2003年2月に一週間の現地調査を行い調査継続の確認、および現地の調査員による調査の可能性を検討している。(1)関係資料の収集に関しては国内外の活用可能な資料を収集した(48点)。収集した資料は、農村地域の学校施設、教育状況、児童労働、経済活動、識字率、就学率等に関する実態調査および基礎統計等。これに従来から収集してきた資料と併せ、250点あまりの資料が収集され、児童労働と教育状況に関する資料はほぼ十分でそろったといえる。ただしインドの大学・研究機関等にのみ所蔵されている未収集資料は若干あるものと考えられる。(2)昨年度調査が可能な候補地域として選出した3村落において、調査継続の確認をとったほか、補足的な資料収集を行った。(3)調査事項の洗練を行うと同時に調査方法を検討し、現地における調査員の雇用とそれによる調査の実施等について、インド国内における同領域の研究者と連携して調整を行っているところである。

This study focuses on the formation of the foundation of indigenous industry and the structure of traditional society and culture, and on the function of school education in the whole structure of socialization. 3 points of view for the purpose of this research: (1) industrial and economic activities;(2) social norms;(3) linguistic and cultural changes. In 2014, we conducted (1) collection of relational data, and (2) implementation and training of this survey. The original plan was carried out in July and August 2002. The Japanese people's waiting list was released, and the investigation of the same period was completed. This year, the data collection in China was thoroughly reviewed, the investigation conducted during the week of February 2003 was confirmed, and the investigation possibility was discussed by the local investigators. (1)Relational data collection related to domestic and international use of possible data collection (48 points) Data collection includes surveys and basic statistics on school facilities, education, child labor, economic activities, literacy rates, and school attendance in rural areas. The data collected from the data collection and 250 points related to the education status of children were collected and analyzed. The university, research institute, etc. have not collected data. (2)3 villages selected for the last year's survey, confirmation of survey results, and data collection for completion. (3)The investigation matters are carried out and the investigation methods are discussed. The investigation personnel are employed in the field. The investigation is carried out in the field.
