The aim of this research analyzes pupils' activities in school-events concretely, and is to clarify the quality of their experience.In order to approach this subject I adoped the method of utilizing the image of present and the past, and have tackled since about 10 years. First, by viewing many documetary-movies, the depiction technique, the feature of depiction, especially, the limit of dipiction and so on I had fully studied. It contenued to master technique of the video-camera operation and video-editing. In this way, the preparation for visiting schools with video-cameras was completed.It is "singing in chorus" and "athletic meeting" in schools that I especially observed. The reason is that at these events, in process of preparation, cooperation with classmates is indispensable and furthermore that many social experiences and exchange of rich feeling are observable.I kept two things in mind in taking movie. The reason is these are because indispensable in order to catch a usual situation plainly.In this way, the number of video records which carried out in about 10 years, arrived at 65 schools of 10 prefectures. After checking carefully the scenes of each cameras, it was edited and made to complete as a work collected for every events of each school.In the video-tapes which reach a total in 10,000min. much expression, behavior, occurrence, deep emotion, strain, etc. were recorded, and the arrangements which can be viewed and analyzed at any time was made.By analyzing these video-image concerning school-events, I have been able chatch vividly the folloing matters.The 1st is the meaning as an opportunity of exchange. Human relations with various age groups and various persons they have firmly learned through their experience.The 2nd is the meaning as an opportunity deeping experience in the world of the non-verbal communication. Compared with study by a textbook, it's clarified that expression and behavior have a meaning far important for mutual understanding.The 3rd is the meaning as a place which shares a impression together with friends. It surely exceeds the impression which tastes alone, and gives joy and power of living to pupils further.The 4th is the meaning of evaluation to school management.
