2003年9月から現在まで以上の研究について以下の事が行われた。1、日本絹人繊織物工業組合連合会、農畜産業振興機構、大日本蚕糸会、蚕糸科学研究所などの蚕糸絹業に関連する機関、部門を訪問し、日本の蚕糸絹業の生産現状、産地分布、技術進歩、原料調達と輸入及び海外調査について聞き取り調査、資料収集などを行った。2、2003年11月に日本最北部にある米沢織物産地において現地調査を行った。まず、米沢織物工業組合にて米沢産地の絹織物業の歴史、展開過程、現状及び今後の発展動向について聞き取り、様々なの関連資料と統計データを収集した。これにより絹織物業は産地にとって重要であることを認知し、米沢繊維協同組合連合会という組織の存在は産地の活性化の推進に重要な役割を果たしていることも感じた。また、産地内の和服、洋服生産工場を訪問し、聞き取り調査、工場見学を通じて工場ごとの生産実態、原料調達、製品の販売(輸出)等の情報を把握した。調査結果として「日本の絹織物業の展開構造に関する研究」という論文にまとめ、2004年度日本農業経済学会で発表する予定で、『2004年度日本農業経済学会論文集』に収録される予定である。3、2004年1月に世界最大の蚕糸絹業の生産、貿易国である中国に出掛け、中国蚕糸絹業の生産実態、貿易現状と今後の発展動向及びWTO加盟に対する対応政策について聞き取り調査、資料収集を行った。今回の調査で短期間中に中国繭絲綢交易市場、浙江大学、中国絲綢信息中心、商務部繭絲綢協調弁公室、中国絲綢進出口総公司、中国絲綢協会など中国蚕糸業に密接に関連する企業、学校、情報管理部門、政策管理部門、輸出部門等を訪問し、蚕糸業経済研究専門家から貴重なコメントを頂き、業界関係者から多くの助言を頂くと共に、中国蚕糸絹業の生産統計、貿易データ、政策にかかわる資料などをたくさん頂きました。調査結果は整理中である。

September 2003: The following is a summary of the above research. 1. In January 2004, China, the world's largest producer and trading country of silk industry, was listed on the list of export countries, and the production status and trade status of China's silk industry. The future development trend and the policy of WTO accession were investigated and data collected. In the short term, China Cocoon and Silk Exchange Market, Zhejiang University, China Silk Information Center, Cocoon and Silk Coordination Office of Ministry of Commerce, China Silk Import and Export Corporation, China Silk Association, enterprises, schools, information management departments, policy management departments, export departments, etc. have been visited, and the enterprises in close contact with China silk industry have been visited.
