项目摘要

本研究は,認知心理学研究からの知見を基盤とした外国語の教授・学習法の提案を目的とするものである。外国語の学習過程や成果に対しては,学習目的・内容,学習者の認知特性,学習方略などの認知的要因が交互作用的に影響を及ぼすと考えられる。そこで,これらの要因の組み合わせに考慮した効果的な教授・学習法の提案をめざした。一昨年度は,中学生の英語学習について,語彙の学習過程やその成果に影響を及ぼす要因の特定を目的とした調査研究,及び授業における語彙の教授法の提案とその効果の検証を行った。昨年度は,英語学習における学習者特性と学習方法との関係について大学生を対象に検討したところ,両者の間には関連が見いだされた。また,中学生との比較から学習経験が増すことによる変化も認められた。本研究の最終年度にあたる今年度は,過去2年間の研究成果,並びに大学生に対して今年度さらに実施した語彙学習に関する調査研究の結果を踏まえ,学習者の特性や学習条件の差異に応じた外国語(特に語彙に関するもの)の教授・学習法について検討した。そこでは,外国語を学習する目的(自律的なものか他律的なものか),教材内容(中学校英語科での単元の性質等),外国語学習への認知的(得意か苦手かの意識)・情意的(好き嫌い)側面,実際の成績(中学校における各種テスト成績等),学習経験(中学校入学前の学習経験の有無,あるいは年齢による差)の違い,あるいはそれらの要因を組み合わせた条件を考慮した教授・学習法を示した。

This study aims to provide a basis for cognitive psychology research and to provide a methodology for teaching foreign languages. Foreign language learning process and results are related to learning objectives and content, cognitive characteristics of learners, learning strategies, and cognitive factors. For this reason, we should consider the proposal of teaching and learning methods. The characteristics of learners and differences in learning conditions are discussed in the study of foreign language professors and learning methods. The purpose of foreign language learning (Self-discipline and other-discipline), textbook content (The nature of the English language unit in middle school, etc.), the cognitive aspects of foreign language learning (the sense of pride and hardship), the emotional aspects (the good aspects), the actual results (the results in middle school, etc.), the study history (the existence or absence of the study history before middle school entrance, the difference between middle school and middle school), the violation of the rules, the consideration of the main factors of the combination of the conditions, the teaching and the study method.
