本研究では、前年度から開始した研究の一環として、外資系企業と現地企業との関係を中心に、外国直接投資(FDI)の受け入れ国での企業間の経営資源の移転パターンとメカニズムを解明することを引き続き分析した。具体的に今年度我々は、「効率化を目指す多国籍企業の行動と現地企業との関係」と「製造業における外資系企業の進出と現地部品企業の発展」という二つの視点からアプローチしていた。前者に関して、タイに進出している多国籍企業(MNC)の調査の分析結果を基に、現地調達比率、販売、賃金システム、労使関係、技術移転を含む研究開発などの様々な角度から日系、欧米系及びアジア系企業の行動を比較し、MNCの効率的な経営のために地場企業との密接な関係が大切であるという結論を導き出した。後者については、現地部品企業の調査データを用いて、中国及びベトナムのFDIの誘引、利用の効率性に関する比較分析が行われた。90年代から、中国及びベトナムは共に、FDIの導入に伴って持続的に高い経済成長率を遂げる成功例と見なされたが、この過程では、現地企業を含む国内生産の振興という課題に注目すれば、ベトナムと比べ、中国はFDIをより効率的に利用したと見られる。両国における部品産業の実態についての調査の分析結果により、FDIの効率的な利用を可能にさせるにあたって必要不可欠な条件としては有力な裾野(部品)産業の存在であることが分かった。さらに現地企業の事例を詳細にみると、中国での裾野産業の発展には、香港及び台湾の中小製造企業が重要な役割を果たしていたことが明らかになった。上述の発見から、我々は「裾野産業の重要性」に着目し、既存の産業集積の形成についての理論を補足的に説明した。また、先発国とキャッチアップをしている途上国(例えば、ベトナム)にとって、有力な裾野産業集積を形成させるため、先進国から先発途上国までの中小企業の直接投資を誘致する必要があると指摘した。

This study begins with an analysis of the relationship between foreign-funded enterprises and local enterprises, and the relationship between foreign direct investment (FDI) and domestic enterprises. Specifically, this year's "Efficiency" refers to the relationship between multinational enterprises and local enterprises "and" Manufacturing, foreign investment and development of local component enterprises ". The former is related to the analysis results of multinational enterprises (MNCs) in China, including the basis, local adjustment ratio, sales, loan structure, business relationship, technology transfer, research development, research perspective, comparison of actions of Japanese, European and Japanese MNCs, efficiency ratio, business relationship, and close relationship between local enterprises. A comparative analysis of FDI attraction and utilization efficiency in China and other countries was conducted. In the 1990s, China and other countries began to invest in foreign investment, and the introduction of foreign investment accompanied by sustained high growth rate. Successful examples were seen in the process of investment, and local enterprises included domestic production revitalization issues. The analysis results of the survey on the actual situation of China's component industry show that the effective utilization of FDI is possible under the necessary conditions and the existence of a strong component industry. The development of small and medium-sized enterprises in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan has been an important part of the development of local enterprises. The above-mentioned findings and suggestions are aimed at "the importance of wild industry" and explain the theory of the formation of existing industrial clusters. In developing countries, it is necessary to attract direct investment from small and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries.
