项目摘要

「ベルクソンにおける身体概念-フランス唯心論の再検討」と題された研究プロジェエクトの最終二年目にあたる今年度は、予定通り、問題構成への取り組みを行い、それを元に、幾つかの成果を発表した。1.フランス唯心論の頂点をなすベルクソンの身体概念に取り組む際に必要とされる視座を概観し、とりわけベルクソンの四大著作の最後を飾る『道徳と宗教の二源泉』に見られる身体論を取り上げて具体的に分析することで、本研究の根本的な据えられるべき位置を明確化しようと努めた。基本的な視座とは、固有身体の固有性への批判・触覚と視覚の関係の再検討・身体と技術の密接な連関の三点である。これは、論文「ベルクソンの身体概念-フランス唯心論の再検討」(『フランス哲学思想研究』、日仏哲学会)という形で発表された。2.ベルクソンの処女作である『意識の直接与件に関する試論』に見られる身体的なリズム性と科学的な計測の問題を論じた「ベルクソン哲学におけるrythmeとmesureの問題」、そして第二作『物質と記憶』に見られる身体的な次元での現実と幻覚の交錯に関しては、論文「現象と幻想の狭間で。ベルクソンの『デジャヴ』とメルロ=ポンティの『幻影肢』」がある。前者は日本仏文学会秋季大会で発表され、学会誌への掲載が決定している。後者はまずノルウェーで開催された北欧現象学会において英語で発表され、次いでフランス語で公刊された(『仏語仏文学研究』)。上記二作品の読解を通して、フランス唯心論の代表者ベルクソンとポストフランス唯心論とも言うべきフランス現象学の代表格メルロ=ポンティとの身体論を比較し、前者における身体のヴァーチャルな位置空間性と後者における身体のリアルな状況空間性を対比した。3.『道徳と宗教の二源泉』に関する研究としては、カント主義者カッシーラーの『二源泉』に関する論考(独語)を自ら仏訳し、身体論的な観点から両者を比較する解題的な論文「カッシーラーのベルクソン読解」を付したもので、2006年『年鑑』第3巻に刊行予定である。長らく研究者の間で名のみ知られる存在となっていた幻のカッシーラー論文に関して、昨年、カッシーラー全集の当該巻が刊行されたのを機に、申請者が『年鑑』編集委員会に仏訳と解題的論文の執筆を打診したところ了承された次第である。
