平成17年度は、第1に「男女共同参画社会に関する意識調査」を300人対象のアンケート調査により行い、さらに主体の意識変容過程を調べるために、インタビュー調査を実施した。一方で、男女共同参画に関する市民活動の特徴を、地域ごとに分析するために、資料収集、関係者へのインタビューなどを行った。地域は、東京・神奈川・静岡・福岡をとりあげた。第1のアンケート調査に関しては、静岡県内で男女共同参画杜会に関するシンポジウムの参加者や、関連機関に勤める人などの有識者150人程度と、まだ社会にでていない大学生150人程度に対して行い、意識や行動を把握して比較検討した。質問項目は、「家族・家庭について」「冠婚葬祭・家の継承・相続について」「女性の人権について」など5つの要素から構成した。その結果、例えば「親は子どもに財産を残すより、自分たちの老後を充実するために活かすべきだ」という質問は、年齢が高い層が賛成する傾向にあるなど、全体的に、規範や家族意識に囚われるのではなく、回答者個人にとって望ましい回答を選ぶ傾向がみられた。また、「メディアにおける女性の性的側面を過度に強調する傾向」は、女子学生に比べて、男子学生のほうが否定的に考えていることがわかった。このように、現代社会における「個」を重視する考え方、女性に比べて男性のほうが保守的な傾向にあることなどが浮き彫りにされた。さらに有識者に関して行ったインタビュー調査で、その意識変容過程を把握した。一方、地域別の市民活動の傾向については、東京方面では、「女性」のライフサイクルを重んじ、その中での再就職支援講座など、「女性」をサポートする傾向が強いのに対して、静岡に関しては、近年、男性の「癒し」の側面を応援するなど、男性の自己啓発の部分に力を注ぐ傾向がみられた。こうした違いが、利用者にいかに影響するかなどの社会化作用については今後の研究課題としたい。

In the first half of 2017, a survey on the awareness of male and female participation in society was conducted among 300 participants.
