项目摘要

本研究は、近代翻訳語の成立を明らかにする際によく参照される基礎的資料について、その編纂方法や成立事情を明らかにしつつ、そこに含まれている翻訳語の成立過程を明らかにしようとするものである。平成17年度の主な研究実績は以下の通り。1.先に刊行した『『類聚紅毛語訳』・『改正増補蛮語箋』・『英語箋』』に引き続き、『英吉利単語篇』『法朗西単語篇』『英仏単語篇注解』『改正増補英語箋』(二種)などの影印・対照表・索引の作成を行なった。また、それに伴い、影印の原本とする資料を確定すべく、各地の図書館に所蔵されている資料の書誌調査を改めて行なった。『英吉利単語篇』『法朗西単語篇』『英仏単語篇注解』の影印・対照表・索引の刊行は、2006年度中に行なう予定である。2.『類聚紅毛語訳』の編纂に大きな影響を与えたとされる宇田川玄随編『西洋医言』(写本)について、現存を広く知られている杏雨書屋蔵本や早稲田大学洋学文庫蔵本、東京大学総合図書館蔵本以外にも、津市図書館稲垣文庫蔵本について撮影を行い、異同状況を調べた上で『類聚紅毛語訳』の編纂に用いられたのがどの写本に近いものであったのかについて検討した。3.東京大学総合図書館蔵の宇田川玄随自筆『槐園漫稿』および『槐園遺稿』について調査し、その中に『西洋医言』の成立に関わる記述があることを新たに見出した。4.『英語箋』などにおいて所々散見する古い方言と思われる語について、近世の方言資料などを参照することによってその由来を追及した。5.これまで調査した西洋語対訳単語集について、一冊の著書にまとめるべく、細かい記述の再確認を行なった。

This study focuses on the establishment of modern Chinese translation, including the establishment of modern Chinese translation, the compilation of basic data, and the establishment of Chinese translation. The main research results of Heisei 17 are as follows: 1. First published: "Quasi-Chinese Language","Corrected Supplementary Language","English Language","English Text","French Text","English Text Notes","Corrected Supplementary English Language"(two kinds),"Copy","Reference Table","Index Creation". The data of the original copy is confirmed, and the data of the local library is revised. English Text, French Text and English Text Notes are published in 2006. 2. The compilation of "Quasi-Red-Hair Language" is greatly influenced by the compilation of "Western Medicine"(written version). The existing version is known to be revised. The Apricot Rain Library is the original version of the Western Medicine Library of Waseda University. The Tokyo University Library is the original version. The Tianjin Library is the original version of the Western Medicine Library. The difference between the two conditions is that the compilation of "similar red hair language" is in the middle of the book. 3. Uda Kawaguwa Gensuki, a professor at the University of Tokyo Library, wrote a new book about the establishment of Western Medicine. 4."English writing" is scattered, ancient dialect is thought, modern dialect data is referred to, and its origin is traced. 5. This is a survey of Western languages, a book, a detailed description, and a reconfirmation.
