GISソフト(Arcview)を利用し、昨年度までに収集した統計資料・地図資料を地図化する作業をおこなった。(1)県レベルベースマップの作成ベトナム全土を対象に、省の下のレベル(県)バウンダリーを入れたベースマップを作成した。県バウンダリーには細かな変更が毎年なされるが、2004年度の境界線をベースマップとして画定した。(2)県レベルデータベースの作成全省の県別統計データをエクセルを利用して入力し、データベースを作成した。入力した項目のうち、多くの県でデータが揃い、全国レベルでの比較に耐える項目は、順不同で次の通りである。気温、日射量、湿度、降水量、面積、人口(2002年12月31日時点)、収入、支出、第二次産業からの収入、主要工業製品、収入指数、消費指数、第一次産業が経済全体に占める割合、第一次産業の増加率(1994年を1とする)、作物別作付面積、種子植物生産量(コメ換算)、コメ作付面積、コメ収量、コメ生産量、作期別のコメ作付面積・収量・生産量、トウモロコシ作付面積・収量・生産量、野菜類作付面積、工芸作物作付面積、家畜飼育(ブタ・水牛・ウシ)の飼養頭数、林業生産額、水産業生産額、教育関連データ。(3)県レベルGISの作成上の(1)と(2)をあわせ、GISソフト(Arcview)を利用し、県レベルのデータを図化する作業をおこなった。以上のデータをもとに、現在、ベトナム北部山地の農業生態区分を作成している。また、その区分をもとに農業発展プロセスに関するフィールド調査をおこなう予定である。(4)環境関連政策分析1950年代以降に省・県・社レベルで実施されているさまざまな環境関連政策(農業開発政策を含む)をレビューし、実際の開発におよぼした影響について考察した。
