In this research, I would try to understand of Spinoza's theory of conatus (principle of self-preservation).1. Through comparing Spinoza with Hobbes, in Spinoza's theory of conatus, conatus (principle of self-preservation)signifies the whole essence of thing in itself.2. Through comparing Spinoza with Descartes, Spinoza's theory of conatus and objects accepts that attribute of extension is infinite and perfect.3. I tried to translate Latin text of causality and substantiality in Suarez's Opera Omnia and Heereboord's Meletemata philosophica into Japanese.4. The point of Spinoza's theory of conatus is that Spinoza understands the supreme good as self-knowledge of God and human mind, and the third kind of knowledge as knowledge of conatus of human being in itself.

在本研究中，我将尝试理解斯宾诺莎的conatus（自我保护原则）理论。通过对斯宾诺莎和霍布斯的比较，可以发现，在斯宾诺莎的“自我保存原则”中，“自我保存原则”指的是事物本身的全部本质。通过对斯宾诺莎和笛卡尔的比较，斯宾诺莎的客体论接受了外延的属性是无限的和完美的。我试图将苏亚雷斯的歌剧《Omnia》和希里伯德的《Meletemata philosophica》中关于因果关系和实体性的拉丁文本翻译成日语。斯宾诺莎的conatus理论的要点在于，斯宾诺莎将至善理解为上帝和人类心灵的自我认识，而将第三种知识理解为人类自身的conatus知识。
