本研究は,メタ認知の概念を援用して「競技者の心身のコンディショニングに対する自己評価尺度」を作成し,信頼性・妥当性を検証することを目的に進められてきた.本年度は,1)尺度作成の最終段階として,セルフモニタリングを用いた介入研究を実施し,効果測度としての実用性を検証した.また,これまでのデータから調整行動はコンディションへの自覚度によってある程度説明可能な一方,それ以外の要因の影響も残されていることが明らかになった.そこで,2)理論的な整合性を有すると思われる要因を付加した概念モデルを検討した。さらに,3)調整行動の学習に関与する要因を抽出する必要性が認められたことから,競技現場のエキスパートへの面接調査を探索的に試みた。1)介入研究では,競技者24名を対象として,コンディションを6ケ月間モニターさせるプログラムを導入し,継続群8名離脱群7名,非実施群9名において分析した。その結果,継続群のみ介入後に得点が有意に上昇し,介入終了から6ヶ月後も得点が保持されたことから,尺度の実用性が示唆された。2)「コンディションの調整行動」を「コンディションへの自覚度」のみで説明する基本モデルと,「競技者背景」「日常での認知・問題解決様式」に関する要因を付加したモデルを比較・検討した。1018名分のデータについて共分散構造分析を行ったところ,付加モデルは基本モデルよりも良好な適合度を示した。しかしながら,最低限の基準値を満たすに留まったことから,さらなる改善が望ましく、解釈に際しては質的データと組み合わせるなど探索的に進めることが今後の課題である。3)調整行動の学習を説明する要因を抽出するうえで,ナショナルチームの強化スタッフ11名を対象に,面接調査を実施した。グラウンデッドセオリー、アプローチを用いて包括的な概念モデルを構築するためには,さらなるデータの収集が必要であることが明らかになった。
