A Political Economy of Economic Development and Financial Institutions under Globalization

本文从不完全市场和信息不对称的角度对金融机构在经济发展中的作用进行了理论和历史分析。金融经济在过去几十年中迅速全球化，影响到所有国家的实体经济，包括发展中国家和发达国家。这项研究考察了金融体系、国家间的经济和政治相互依存关系以及国际政策协调。也就是说，我写了一些关于发展中国家的非正式金融机构、全球化的政治和经济影响、不稳定的金融体系和全球金融危机等方面的文章和书籍。

In this research program, I have done some theoretical and historical analyses of the role of financial institution in economic development from the viewpoint of imperfect market and asymmetric information. Financial economies, which have been rapidly globalized in the past decades, have affected real-sector economies for all countries including developing countries as well as advanced countries. This research examined financial systems, economic and political interdependence among nations, and international policy coordination. That is, I wrote some articles and books on informal financial institution in developing countries, political and economic implications of globalization, unstable financial systems and global financial crises, and so on.
