青森県深浦町で発見された低アルカロイド含量エンドファイト(F-endo)はN.loliiであることを確認した。F-endoを異なる遺伝子型を持つ宿主植物に接種しLolitrem B含量を比較したところ、親和性に大きな差が見られた。北東北から収集したトールフェスク個体で野生型エンドファイト菌の影響を調べたところ、リン酸吸収量が増加し、わが国の酸性土壌下でミネラル吸収特性を改善することが確認された。
