新たな森林環境教育のあり方の検討を目的に高等学校の森林環境教育の実態調査を行った。その結果,森林環境教育は普通科,総合学科,専門学科共に実施されていた。教育内容は,資源生産,自然環境,保健休養,地域・文化,教育目的は,専門教育,地域の人材養成,人間性の育成で,林業教育,自然教育,環境教育,自然体験,キャリア教育,地域学習の要素を含む多様性が見られた。実施には,指導者と実施場所の条件が挙げられた。
