帰国後10年以上を経たラテンアメリカ出身の元日本留学生42名に聞き取り調査を行ない、留学の長期的成果を考察した。留学は職業選択・進路に影響を与えたこと、大きな文化差を乗り越えた自信により本人が成長し、職場や地域、次世代にも成果を伝えていること、日本留学の後さらに西欧に留学した人は特に、ラテンアメリカ・日本・西欧を見渡す国際的視点が培われ活躍や周りに与える影響が注目される。その詳細を分析し、今後の教育交流にあたっての知見を得た。

More than 10 years after the founding of the people's Republic of China, 42 Japanese students who were born after the founding of the people's Republic of China have studied the long-term achievements of studying abroad. The career choice of studying abroad will have an impact on the choice of students, cultural differences and cultural differences. I am confident that I will become a long-term student, a professional student, a next-generation graduate student, a student in Western Europe after studying in Japan, a student in Western Europe, a student in Japan, and a student in Western Europe.
