本研究では、抗炎症タンパク質であるアネキシン1の細胞内外での作用機構を明らかにした。アネキシン1のN 末端のペプチドを2 種類合成し、本ペプチドの抗炎症作用を好中球の活性酸素産生抑制能を指標として解析すると、100μM 以上の高濃度で抑制されたが、低濃度では効果なかった。アネキシン1のトランスジェニックマウスの作製し、炎症病態を軽減することを明らかにした。また、Annexin1と結合する新規Kelch-Related Protein であるKLHL5 の他3 つの蛋白質を検出した。
