项目摘要

本研究の主な目的は日本経済の中期的景気循環の分析を行い、1990年代初頭以降の日本経済低迷の原因を明らかにすることにある。第一に、実体経済の側面に分析の焦点を当てたマクロ的な分析を行った。実証検証と理論モデルのカリブレーション・シュミレーション分析によると、米国からの技術伝播が日本経済の中期的景気変動に重要な影響を与えていることが定量的に示された。第二に、バブル期以降の日本経済を考えると、金融の不安定性が日本経済に中期的に大きな影響を与えた可能性も否定できないため、金融面の日本経済への影響の分析を行った。分析によると、企業のリスクテイク行動への影響を通じて、銀行の行動が日本の実体経済(企業のパフォーマンス)に大きな影響を与え得ることが理論的・実証的に示された。
