项目摘要

本研究の目的は、アジア非英語圏（日本を含む）で増加しつつあるEMI(English-Medium Instruction、英語を媒介とする授業)に焦点をあて、（１）日本人学生と外国人学生の英語および現地語の言語習得やコミュニケーション活動の実態を把握し、また（２）EMIプログラム卒業生への調査を実施することによって、仕事で求められている言語使用とカリキュラムとの連関を分析し、言語教育への政策提言を行うことである。本年度はタイ（Japan Expo等)およびシンガポール（現地ビジネス関係者とのインタビュー等）での現地調査を行った。また、研究成果の一部につき、SS (Sociolinguistic Symposium)24，ELF 13, The 4th & 5th ELF SIG International Workshops等で研究発表を行ったほか、Language Policy and Planning in Asia Vol. 1, Vol. 2, Vol. 3, Vol.4 (eds. Satoshi Miyazaki and Masakazu Iino, SAGE Publishing)を刊行した。この間、これまでに収録した録音データの文字化、ディスコース分析、録画データのコンテント分析に加え、過去のデータの整理、分析も行った。なお、本研究(科研（基盤（ｃ）、研究代表者飯野公一）は科研（基盤（Ｂ）、研究代表者村田久美子）と関連を持ち実施された。
