A manual for nursing personnel who provide support to diabetic women has been developed based on the examination of useful practical approaches, and will be published in the autumn of 2012. The manual contains specific information on diabetes and sex, pregnancy and delivery, and explains how nursing personnel can assist diabetic women in reproductive health self-care and provide psychosocial support. In addition, a seminar has been developed to help nursing personnel appreciate the necessity of providing support for the needs of diabetic women, to deepen mutual understanding with diabetic women and their families, and to address bidirectional support. This will further motivate nursing personnel to provide effective support, and contribute to the development of networks between nursing personnel and diabetic women and their families, between nursing personnel themselves, and between researchers and nursing personnel.

在对实用方法进行研究的基础上，为向糖尿病妇女提供支助的护理人员编写了一本手册，将于2012年秋季出版。该手册载有关于糖尿病与性、怀孕和分娩的具体信息，并解释了护理人员如何协助糖尿病妇女进行生殖健康自我保健和提供心理社会支助。此外，还举办了一次研讨会，帮助护理人员认识到为糖尿病妇女的需要提供支助的必要性，加深与糖尿病妇女及其家人的相互了解，并解决双向支助问题。这将进一步激励护理人员提供有效的支持，并有助于发展护理人员与糖尿病妇女及其家庭之间、护理人员之间以及研究人员与护理人员之间的网络。
