Representations and Transformations of the Construction of Female Subjectivity and Gender in English Renaissance Culture

本研究以1610 - 1625年为研究对象，探讨了女性参政主体性建构的表征与转型的文化历史意义。通过比较当时女性作家与同时代男性作家的作品，考察了英国文艺复兴时期女性主体性表征的转变与社会性别观念的关系。

With special reference to the Jacobean period, in particular in the years from 1610 to 1625, this study explored the cultural and historical significance of representations and transformations of the construction of subjectivity of women who participated in politics. By comparing works by female writers at the time and those by their contemporary male writers, it examined the relationship of the transformations of representations of female subjectivity with the concepts of gender in English Renaissance society.
