Comparative History of Masculinities-Reexamination of Public-Private Relation

我们在“男性主义比较史”中揭示了三点。(1)“男性史”是一个性别史的领域，与“男性史”有区别。它在引领“历史上的性别主流”方面发挥着重要作用。(2)“阳刚之气”有多种含义，并不一定是男人的财产。“霸权和从属男性气质”之间的区别取决于年龄和社会。(3)“同性恋”的概念出现于19^<th>世纪，私人的单性关系往往决定了公共领域（政治、经济和军事）的个人关系。

We revealed three points in 'comparative history of masculinities'. (1)'History of masculinities' is a field of gender history and to be distinguished from 'history of men'. It plays an important role to lead 'gender mainstream in history'. (2)'Masculinity' has various meanings and is not necessarily the property of men. Discrimination between'hegemonic and subordinated masculinity 'depends on the age and society. (3) Concept of 'homosexuality' appeared in 19^<th> century and private monosexual relationships often determined the personal ties in the public sphere(political, economic and military).
