本年は国内外分担・協力研究者と、(1)関連資料の収集と分析を実施、(2)研究方法・倫理的配慮等につき検討を加え、(3)研究対象地域及び協力機関との連携につき一定の合意に達した。(4)同時に援助専門職から聞き取りや視察を実施し本邦における精神障害者の地域生活環境の脆弱性について確認した。(5)また研究代表者は夏期1ヶ月New Zealandに滞在、現地協力研究者と精神障害者のHRQOLの構成要素及びOutcome Measurementならびに上記(2)について討議し、Christchurchで地域生活支援を実施する2機関と連携関係構築に成功した。特にRichmond New Zealandだけでなく、ComCare Trustとの関係強化を図り、多方面から理解を深める努力を行った。以上の研究から、精神障害者のWell Being向上のための重要な要素は(1)Good Job, (2)Good Home, (3)Good Health, (4)Belonging, (5)Freedom, (6)Leisure, (7)Listening, (8)Hope,という多面的なものであり、それら全てへの支援が重要かつ不可欠であることを明確化した。またComCare Trustでの調査から、住まいや就労・就学のみならず、余暇活動まで視野にいれた支援が実施されていることが確認できた。これらの結果から精神障害者が地域生活に移行し、それを継続するためには多面的支援が必要であり、同時にHRQOLを環境面のみに焦点づけるだけでは十分ではないこと、さらには福祉的支援における環境とは何かという課題も明らかとなった。本邦における世帯構成員数の減少からも、家族介護力に依拠しない地域生活支援を多面的に進めてゆく必要性は顕著であり、文化的背景を考慮しつつ、今後も上記の課題について研究を深め、本邦に紹介し還元してゆく必要性を強く感じている。

This year, we will share and collaborate with domestic and foreign researchers,(1) collect and analyze relevant data,(2) conduct research on methods and ethical considerations, and (3) study target areas and collaborative agencies, and achieve certain desired results. (4)At the same time, we will assist in the identification of the vulnerability of the living environment of the mentally handicapped in the country. (5)The research representatives were present in New Zealand in the summer of January, the local collaborators, the HRQOL components of the mentally handicapped and the Outcome Measurement.(2) The discussion was held, and Christchurch's regional life support was implemented.(3) The relationship between the two organizations was successfully established.
