项目摘要

王朝による西周時代の青銅彝器の配布と諸侯・諸氏族側によるその受容状況を検討することで当時の王朝の影響力が及んだ範囲を画定し、最終的には青銅器と漢字の使用とによって特徴づけられる"中華世界"の成立過程を読み解こうとすることが本研究の大きなテーマである。上記の研究目標のもと、今年は陝西省・浙江省・台北の各地で資料調査を行った。陝西省岐山県周公廟遺跡では、北京大学と陝西省考古研究所によって行われた2011-2012年度の発掘調査に参加し、当地が西周時代の貴族階級によって営まれた拠点の一つであったことを再確認した。周公廟遺跡を構成する建築基壇や墓地などの分布状況から判断する限り、中央に大型建築が配され、それを取り囲むように墓地が配置される構造を持っていたと思われる。このような西周期の都市構造が明らかになった例はこれまでほとんどなく、「邑」の構造を解明するためには、今後も継続して周公廟遺跡の調査に注目する必要があるだろう。台北・中央研究院では昨年に引き続き、中国河南省溶県辛村墓地から出土した青銅彝器群を主な研究対象として、王朝系青銅器・在地生産青銅器の別を論ずるために青銅器自体の型式変化に注目して分類検討を行い、辛村墓地出土の盃(M51:2)と小方彝1点(M5:84)に注目し、当器が西周中期～後期に製作された、在地生産の青銅器である可能性が高いことが明らかとなった。辛村墓地では西周前期に王朝から直接青銅彝器を受容していた一方で、中期・後期には受容せず、自前の生産を行っていたと考えられる。このような前期/中期における青銅彝器の出土状況の変化は、拙稿「西周時代関中平原における青銅彝器分布の変化」(『中国考古学』第10号、2010年11月)で論じた西周王畿内における青銅彝器出土状況の変化と相似しており、その背後には王朝による青銅彝器分配に対する意識の変化があったことと考えられる。
