项目摘要

本研究では「アジアの農村開発における貧困削減と経済格差に関する研究」と題して、平成22年度より2ヵ年に渡って主に次の5つの課題に取り組んだ。1、戦後日本における農家間所得格差の長期的分析。2、アジア諸国における農村・都市間の所得格差の比較分析。3、バングラデシュにおける農村の貧困と経済格差の動学的分析。4、ベトナムにおける農村の教育水準が農外雇用機会に与える影響分析。5、タイにおける農村・都市間の経済財政格差と地方分権化の分析。今年度に主に取り組んだ課題3～5に関する成果は次の通りである。課題3は、アジア最貧国と言われるバングラデシュの農村世帯調査に基づく貧困の実証研究であり、学術雑誌『アジア経済』に査読付き論文「バングラデシュ農村における多元的貧困の動態」が掲載された(2012年2月刊行)。課題4は、ベトナムの農村において教育がどれほど農外就業機会に影響を与えるのかを分析した研究であり、日本農業経済学会論文集に査読付き論文「ベトナムにおける教育が農村の農外就業に与える影響」が掲載された(2011年12月刊行)。課題5は、タイの地方分権化と経済財政格差の現状を分析したアジア経済研究所からの受託研究である。この研究成果は2012年6月出版の共著"Fiscal Decentralization and Development:Experiences of Three Developing Countries in Southeast Asia"(Palgrave Macmillan)に収録される。また最後に、本年度は上記の課題1～4を改訂および統合して博士論文「農村の経済発展と所得分配に関する実証研究」を執筆して博士号の学位申請を行い、東京大学大学院・農学生命科学研究科における審査を経て、博士号(農学)を取得するに至った。

This study is divided into five groups: "Research on Poverty Reduction and Poverty Gap in Rural Development" and "Research on Poverty Reduction and Poverty Gap in Rural Development". 1. Long-term analysis of the income gap between farmers in Japan after the war. 2. Comparative analysis of income difference between rural and urban areas in different countries. 3. Dynamic analysis of rural poverty and economic disparity. 4. Analysis of the impact of rural education on employment opportunities outside the countryside. 5. Analysis of the financial gap between rural and urban areas and local decentralization. This year's main topic is to select topics 3 to 5, and the results are to be communicated. Topic 3:"The dynamics of multidimensional poverty in rural areas"(February 2012 issue) was published in an academic journal titled "Poverty in Rural Areas". Topic 4: Research on the Impact of Education on Rural Off-farm Employment Opportunities and Analysis of the Impact of Education on Rural Off-farm Employment Opportunities, published in the Proceedings of the Japan Agricultural Economic Society (December 2011). Topic 5: Analysis of the Current Situation of Financial Disparity in the Regional Economy and Economy The results of this research were published in June 2012 under the title Fiscal Decentralization and Development:Experiences of Three Developing Countries in Southeast Asia (Palgrave Macmillan). Finally, the revision and integration of topics 1 to 4 in this year's report, the preparation of doctoral thesis "Empirical research on rural economic development and income distribution," the examination of doctoral degree application, and the acquisition of doctoral degree (agriculture) in Graduate School of Agriculture and Life Sciences, University of Tokyo.
