The nationalistic reading community "The German home library" in Germany after the First World War and its connection to National Socialism

本研究以1916年由右翼商务白领工会“德国国家商务助理协会”成立的阅读社区“德国家庭图书馆”为研究对象。通过对这个读书界的信息和广告杂志的仔细分析，很明显，它的出版活动和对读物的推荐在很大程度上促进了第一次世界大战后德国民族主义运动的繁荣和加强。本研究为民族社会主义与文学关系的研究提供了新的重要的基础资料，展示了文学研究民族社会主义的一种范式。与此同时，一个新的、重要的研究课题“读书会”被发现了。

This research deals with the reading community “theGerman home library“, that was established in the year 1916 by the trade union of the right-wing commerce white-collar “the German national commerce assistant association“. Through the careful analysis of information- and advertising magazines of this reading community it became clear that its publication activities and recommendations of reading material contributed largely to the prosperity and strengthening of the nationalist movement in Germany after the First World War. This study introduces new and important fundamental material for the study of the connection between National Socialism and Literature, and shows a model of research of National Socialism by way of literary research. At the same time a new, important research topic “The Book Club“ was discovered.
