Study of mechanisms of repression of immune response at early stage of EHEC/EPEC infection

宿主细胞通过与病原体接触，诱导炎症反应，激活免疫反应，防止病原体感染。肠出血性或肠致病性大肠杆菌（EHEC或EPEC）在感染早期有能力降低这些免疫反应，这种能力可能对成功感染很重要。在这项研究中，我们确定了几个毒力因素，包括抑制炎症反应和调节上皮细胞和免疫细胞的凋亡。

By encountering pathogens hostcells induce inflammatory responses and activate immune responseto prevent infection of pathogens. Enterohaemorrhagic or enteropathogenic Escherichia coli (EHEC or EPEC) have ability to reduce these immune response at early stage of infection, and this ability could be important for successful infection.In this study, we identified several virulence factors involving suppression of inflammatory response and regulation of apoptosis in epithelial and immune cells.
