Iconographical study on paper money of early modern Japan

我研究了江户时代和明治早期在一些机构发行的纸币。除了国立日本文学研究所等国内机构外，我还参观了大英博物馆，通过对其藏品的研究促进了国际学术交流。具体说明每张钞票的发行者和发行年份，我努力引用了消息来源。这是因为大多数目录都没有引用资源。为了利用每个法案所拥有的各种各样的信息，我试图尽可能地破译用印章书写或盖章的句子。因此，可以确认这些信息将有效地用于分析纸币。

I researched paper money issued in either Edo period and early Meiji period at some institutions . In addition to domestic institutions such as National Institute of Japanese Literature, I also visited the British Museum for promoting international academic exchange through my research of its collection. Specifying issuer and year of issuance of each bill, I made an effort to cite sources. It is because most of the catalogues had not referred the resources. To make use of wide variety of information each bill has, I tried to decipher sentences either written or stamped in seal script as much as possible. As a result of that, it could be confirmed that the information would be effective for analysis of paper money.
