An Ethnographic study of transnational anime fandom culture in US.

本研究将御宅族文化置于不同的文化和社会条件下。Fandom文化处于数字时代的跨国媒介文化之中。根据详细的民族志工作，我描述了在更广泛的动漫爱好者群体中特定利基社区的内部学习。我发现了三个关键的概念框架：1)DIY伦理（粉丝文化的文化逻辑），2)潜在的基于同行的评论，以及3)在不同的小众亚文化中相互学习。

This study situates otaku culture within varied cultural and social conditions. Fandom culture is situated within the transnational media culture of the Digital age. Drawing from detailed ethnographic work, I characterized the internal learning of specific niche communities within the broader anime fandom. I found three key conceptual frameworks : 1) the DIY ethics(cultural logics of fandom culture), 2) the underlying peer based reviewing, and 3) reciprocal learning within the varied niche subcultures.
