Philological study of the classical texts of traditional medicine in India with special attention to the Sanskrit medical works attributed to Vagbhata and his disciple.

这项关于印度传统医学经典梵文文本的文献学研究项目包括以下四个部分。(1)收集印度传统医学经典典籍的手稿，特别是梵天的《阿斯丹吉拉多》、《阿斯坦加桑格拉哈》和《迦迦塔》的印度传统医学著作。(2)以收集的传统医籍资料为基础的文献学研究。(3)对这些传统医学著作中的医学理论进行分析。(4)印度现代喀拉拉邦传统医学临床实践研究。该项目(2)、(3)和(4)的成果已部分发表。

This research project regarding philological study of the classical Sanskrit texts of traditional medicine in India consists of the following four parts. (1) Collecting copies of the manuscripts of the classical texts of traditional medicine in India, particularly Vagbhata's Astangahridayasamhita, Astangasangraha and Jajjata's traditional Indian medical works. (2) Philological study based on the collected materials of the traditional medical works. (3) Analysis of medical theory found in these traditional medical works. (4) Research of clinical practices of traditional medicine in modern Kerala state, India. The results of (2), (3) and (4) of this project have partly been published.
