The relationship between Japanese people and Tatar exiles during the first half of Showa era

This research was related to the relationship between Japan and the Islamic World during the first half of Showa Era, because the Japanese people tried to promote the contact with the Islamic World. For the purpose of this theme, I tried to shed light on the Tatar exiles in Interwar Japan, based on the analysis of the various source materials in both Japan and Turkey.Specifically, I tried to clarify the roll of Tatar exiles in Japan during the first half of Showa era, depending on various source materials, such as the photographs and letters of Prof. Koji OKUBO(Komazawa University), who was the pioneer of the Turkish study in Japan and the meditator between Japan and Tatar exiles. I also drew up the life of the Tatar exiles through the family album of a Tatar exiles in Japan and Korea, which I found in Istanbul.
