Role of the students' self-concept in Japanese technical high schools

本研究旨在探讨中专学生自我概念的发展状况。本研究以技高十年级学生为研究对象。我们根据学生的回答进行了文本挖掘分析。这样的结果，我们可以划分出“11个意识类别”。同时，通过量化的方法，我们发现学生的意识类别对自我概念有影响。另一方面，本研究采用纵向研究设计，对初中二年级学生的职业意识和自我概念进行了调查。研究结果发现，自我概念对初中生职业意识的发展具有重要的促进作用。此外，生涯辅导对促进大学生自我概念的形成具有重要作用。

The purpose of this study is to explore the students' self-concept in technical high school. A survey was conducted on tenth-grade technical high school students. We carried out the text-mining analysis based on the students' responses. The result of this, we could classify "11 consciousness categories". Also we found that students' consciousness categories influence self-concept by using a quantification method. On the other hand, as a longitudinal design study, a survey of career consciousness & self-concept was conducted on twelfth-grade students. From the results, we found that self-concept plays an important role in promoting career consciousness in twelfth grade. In addition we suggested that career counseling plays an important role to promote the self-concept.
