In this study, we aimed to examine HLA class II subtype of Kawasaki disease (KD) patient and superantigen (SAg) gene detected from his stool, and to prove that there were subgroups of HLA class II subtype which were sensitive to each SAg and that HLA class II subtype was one of the host factors related to KD onset. Concretely, we detected SAg genes in all DNA extracted from KD patients' and control children's stools, and detected HLA class II subtypes in DNA extracted from their blood samples. And we studied the relation between SAg and HLA class II subtypes. But we were behind with starting an experiment because choice of appropriate analyzing system for HLA took time. Furthermore, samples did not gather enough because there was slightly little number of cases of KD for these three years. Therefore we are studying this theme at present. We want to collect samples a little more and continue this study.

本研究旨在通过对川崎病（KD）患者的HLA Ⅱ类亚型及其粪便中超抗原（SAg）基因的检测，证实存在对每种SAg敏感的HLA Ⅱ类亚型亚群，并证实HLA Ⅱ类亚型是与KD发病相关的宿主因素之一。对KD患儿和对照组患儿的粪便DNA进行SAg基因检测，并对患儿的血液DNA进行HLA Ⅱ类亚型检测。并探讨了SAg与HLA Ⅱ类亚型的关系。但是我们在开始实验方面落后了，因为选择合适的HLA分析系统需要时间。此外，由于这三年的川崎病病例数量略少，样本收集得不够。因此，我们目前正在研究这个主题。我们想再收集一些样本，继续这项研究。
