To identify determinant factors which make effective technology transfer into coastal environmental management of the fishery villages in the Philippines, I conducted field research and data gathering on the Integrated Coastal Management Projects of the Philippine local governments under “Partnerships in EnvironmentalManagement for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA)”. Then I analyzed those collected data. Beside this I used results from a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (A) “Survey Research on Local Governance in Southeast Asia: Comparative Study on Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines” for which I myself conducted a quantitative survey research on the Philippine local governance. I presented some findings in several academic conferences and a symposium inside and outside of Japan. I also write some papers in a English proceedingand some books.

为了确定将有效的技术转移到菲律宾渔村的沿海环境管理中的决定因素，我在“东亚海洋环境管理伙伴关系”(PEMSEA)下对菲律宾地方政府的海岸综合管理项目进行了实地研究和数据收集。然后我对收集到的数据进行了分析。此外，我使用了科学研究助学金(A)《东南亚地方治理调查研究：泰国、印度尼西亚和菲律宾的比较研究》的结果，为此我本人对菲律宾的地方治理进行了定量的调查研究。我在日本国内外的几个学术会议和一次研讨会上展示了一些发现。我还写了一些英语作文和一些书。
