本研究の主要目的は、国際的な平和と安全に対する現代の脅威に対応する国連システムの効率性について調査を行うことである。本年度はオーストラリア・メルボルンのロイヤルメルボルン工科大学で開催された「People and the Planet」というワークショップに参加し、本研究成果を発表し、レビューを受けることができた。本年度も英国パルグレイブ・マクミラン社から出版予定の「The UN Today : Human Security in a World of States」の執筆に引き続き取り組んだ。原稿は査読審査段階であり、現在校正作業を行っている。最終原稿は平成25年9月1日に出版社に提出し、引き続き編集を行う予定である。国連大学サステイナビリティと平和研究所のヴェセリン・ポポフスキー博士と共同で取り組んでいる「グローバルな立法者としての安全保障委員会」というテーマのプロジェクトでは、安全保障委員会の立法的決議の知識基盤を構築することを模索し、安全保障委員会の立法行動が国連加盟国と国際的な安全と平和に与える影響について評価する。平成24年夏には、ニューヨーク市立大学ラルフ・バンチ国際研究所の所長であるThomas Weiss氏が開催した専門家諮問会議に参加し、平成25年3月にはセント・アンドルーズ大学のグローバル立憲政治研究所の所長であるAnthony Lang氏による「著者のワークショップ(Authors Workshop)」に参加した。現在、このプロジェクトの論文に取り組んでおり、ラウトレッジ社から出版される「Global Institutions」シリーズとして出版される予定である。

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of international peace and security against modern threats. This year, the University of Science and Technology launched the "People and the Planet" and "People and the Planet." The results of this research were presented and received. This year's edition of "The UN Today : Human Security in a World of States" was published by the British Press. The manuscript is reviewed at the review stage, and the correction operation is now performed. The final manuscript was published on September 1, 2015. The National Union University has established a knowledge base for legislative decisions of the Security Council. The legislative actions of the Security Council are evaluated in the context of international security and peace. Thomas Weiss, Director of the Institute of International Studies at City University, participated in the opening of the Family Consultation Conference in the summer of 1924; Anthony Lang, Director of the Institute of Constitutional Politics at City University, participated in the Authors Workshop in March of 1925. Now, this article is selected from the group, published by "Global Institutions" and published by the predetermined group.
