项目摘要

これまでの史資料調査・インタビューデータ調査で得られた成果を元に、人種編成論の枠組みから戦後日本社会における「日本人」／「外国人」の人種化の作用と当事者のエージェンシーに関する分析を進めた。この過程で、データの補足調査（沖縄・大阪）を随時行った。まずは、これまで公文書館や地方図書館、国会図書館、外務省外交史料館、新聞アーカイブなどで得られた史資料をもとに、戦後日本社会において「日本人」と「外国人」がいかにイデオロギー的・法的に人種化されていったのかに焦点を当てることで、この二分法から不可視化される「混血」や「ハーフ」への人種化の作用と効果を分析した。その上で、これまでのフィールド調査や当事者団体への参与観察等によって得られた42名のインタビューデータを用いてライフストーリー分析を行い、ミクロレベルの人種化の実態と当事者のエージェンシーの諸相を分析した。また、これらの研究成果を学会で報告・発表した。『一橋社会科学』では第８号に投稿論文が掲載された（「現代日本社会の「ハーフ」をめぐるライフストーリー分析――コンネルの制度論による家族・学校・職場・街頭に関する考察――」2016年12月）。また、『社会学評論』への投稿ではA評価を受け、2017年9月（270号）に掲載決定した。『歴史学研究』においては独創的な研究が評価され、現在は二度目の査読をもとに再投稿中である。2016年10月8日―９日に開催された第89回日本社会学会大会の研究活動委員会企画テーマセッション【２】（「移民第二世代」への社会学的アプローチ）において「日本社会の『ハーフ』をめぐる家族・学校・労働市場・街頭　コンネルのレジーム理論によるライフストーリー分析」のタイトルでプロジェクターによる報告を行った。
