项目摘要

本研究はデザインの創造行為に対する評価行為に着目した研究であり，過去のデザイン評価が及ぼした影響を考察し，次なる創造行為に効果的な評価を与える項目を明らかにすることが目的である．これまでの研究ではデザイン領域の拡がりによって創造行為に新たな選択肢が与えられる事象に着目し，領域拡大を促すデザイン評価を検討した．デザイン対象を創造する際，デザイン対象を製造する以前の企画構想段階や試作段階においてもその経過ごとにデザイン評価を多く与えている．これまでの研究における主となるデザイン評価は、デザイン対象の製造後に与えられる評価であったが、その評価の中で重要視される「デザイン意図の明確性」と製造以前の評価が深く関わっていることを本研究では指摘し，各段階におけるデザイン評価基準の必要性を言及した．そこで，新規事業企画提案を目的とした「東京ビジネスデザインアワード」を調査し企画立案に必要な審査視点・審査基準を整理した．整理された視点及び基準をアワードの理念と照らし合わせ，審査基準の明文化を行った．得られた企画構想段階である審査員の発言と，製造後段階としてのグッドデザイン賞審査員の発言を比較し分析した．繰り返し発言されるキーワードと語句の希少さによる重み付けを行い，言語として現れる両審査内で評価される価値を抽出した．大きく偏りを見せた語句をまとめると「期待」と「成果」に二分され，デザイン評価を再定義した．価値創造プロセスに必要な要件を整理した．企画段階に領域を超越する可能性があるか．与えられる評価が成果以外に次なる期待を含む評価となるか．領域が増加した際に細分化可能か，付属領域が過小評価されていないか，対象を違う視点で捉え直すことは可能か，領域に含まれるコンテクストに新たな概念が含まれていないか．これらを段階的に確認することによって，価値創造を実現するデザイン評価プロセスモデルとなる．
