项目摘要

①　1920～30年代の農民文学について調査整理　創始期の農民文学論争を、党派の形成に着目して整理した。農民文学は国策文学であるという従来の評価に対して、農民文学が既成の権威へのアンチテーゼとして生まれ、幅広い展開をなしていたことを論じた。これは論文として、牧千夏「創始期の農民文学論争」として発表した。②　宮澤賢治の階層の調査　宮沢賢治による農民文学・農村実践が、①どのような立場で②誰に向けられたものかを明らかにすることで、③同時代におけるその意義を考察する。宮沢賢治は、大地主下層の商階層、県レベルの農業指導者であり、その対象は、小地主～自作農階層の市町村レベルの農業指導者であったことを明らかにした。これは、「日本近代文学会「だれのための農民芸術論か――宮沢賢治の階層と地域社会における役割――」に口頭発表した。③　宮澤賢治のレトリックの分析　（１）宮沢賢治『春と修羅　第三集』の表現の特徴を明らかにした。「春の雲に対するあいまいなる議論」を分析し、低気圧を人間同様に恋愛する存在に喩えたと論じた。「県技師の雲に対するステートメント」とを分析し、気象学的に観測した雲を性的魅力に満ちた女性に喩えたと論じた。以上の読解を通じて、気象学に着想を得た比喩を表現の特徴として指摘した。これは論文として、牧千夏「気象学のつくる詩学」として発表した。（２）宮沢賢治による擬人化表象の特徴を分析するために、童話雑誌『赤い鳥』と宮沢『注文の多い料理店』とを比較した。動植物の野性の描写と、動植物を人間化する描写とを比較した結果、『注文の多い料理店』は『赤い鳥』より、どちらの描写も多いと分かった。さらに江口渙・小川未明と比較した結果、宮沢は動植物の野性を描きつつ、内面も外面も擬人化することで、動植物が人間の常識を身につけた状況を描出したと分かった。これは、論文として本年度内に発行される予定である。
