2022年度は、2021年度より引き続き基礎資料の収集等を行い、交渉促進型調停の理論・技法に関する日本での研究の調査・分析を行った。また、非暴力コミュニケーションに関する調査を本格的に開始した。非暴力コミュニケーションを用いたメディエーションについて、Center for Nonviolent Communication認定トレーナーにインタビューを行い、その基本的な考え方、姿勢、および具体的な手続実施方法について調査した。その結果、日本で一般に知られている交渉促進型調停ではあまり用いられていない手法が使われていたので、この手法を用いる効果について更に検討する必要が生じた。そのほか、2022年度での調査研究を通して、非暴力コミュニケーションに関する学術的な研究は日本ではほとんど行われていないこと、他方で海外においては様々な実践例の他にいくつかの計量的な研究があり、また韓国などでは民間型ADRだけでなく司法型ADRにおいても非暴力コミュニケーションが活用されている例があることが判明した。
