项目摘要

2003年、生命倫理学の方法論的転換として「経験的転回」が提唱された。経験的生命倫理学とは、生命科学・医療が提起する倫理問題に対して、「理論」（理論的な分析）と「経験」（経験的なデータを用いた分析）を統合することにより規範的な結論を導く学問分野である。なお、ここでいう規範的な結論は、哲学的にも妥当で、社会にも受け入れられるようなものを想定している。本研究は、１）日本の視座を導入することで、欧米中心の経験的生命倫理学を相対的に捉え直し、多様な文脈に応用可能な方法論を構築するとともに、２）その方法論を、例えば、幹細胞研究が提起する倫理問題に応用することで、規範的な結論を導くことを目的とするものである。本年度は、これまで経験的生命倫理学の分野を牽引してきた中堅研究者の一人、マイケル・ダン氏（シンガポール国立大学）を広島大学に招聘し、経験的生命倫理学の意義と課題、さらに今後の当該分野の展望について集中的に討議した。また、前年度までの成果を基に、2022年12月上旬に、日本の市民約300名を対象にした幹細胞研究が提起する倫理問題に関するオンラインのアンケート調査を実施した。この調査結果について、本研究プロジェクトの研究協力者と、意見交換を重ねる中で、次年度に同成果を国際会議や国際誌で発表する準備を行った。さらに、ダン氏やその他海外の哲学者・倫理学者・社会（心理）学者とも連携しながら、同様の調査を海外で実施するための準備も進めた。

In 2003, the methodological transformation of bioethics was introduced. Bioethics, Life Sciences and Medical Sciences: Ethical Issues, Theory (Theoretical Analysis), Theory (Practical Analysis), and Normative Conclusions The normative conclusion is that philosophy is appropriate and society is accepted. This study includes: 1) the introduction of bioethics in Japan; 2) the establishment of methodologies for stem cell research; 3) the introduction of ethical issues in stem cell research; and 4) the establishment of normative conclusions. This year, we will focus on the discussion of the significance of bioethics in the field of bioethics in the future. Based on the results of the previous year, in early December 2022, about 300 Japanese citizens were investigated for ethical issues related to stem cell research. The results of this survey will be reviewed, and this study will be conducted in conjunction with the exchange of views and the preparation of the results of international conferences and international journal presentations.
