研究の初年度となる2022年度は、研究協力者2名の協力のもと、本研究の基礎史料となる、辻田政信氏所蔵文書（以下、辻田文書）および藤並行三氏所蔵文書（以下、藤並文書。いずれも和泉市教育委員会蔵）の整理作業に取り組んだ。辻田文書は目録化がおおよそ完了し、藤並文書についても、おおよそ１／４程度の目録をとることができた。このほかにも、研究代表者は、堺市立中央図書館にて資料調査を行い、大阪における高度経済成長・地域開発および文化財保存問題に関する文献や資料、朝日新聞・毎日新聞泉州版の関連記事を収集した。聞き取り調査については、コロナ禍ということもあり、予定通り実施することはできなかったものの、１９６０年代後半に和泉市立和泉中学校の郷土研究部員として、地域の歴史学習と文化財保存に取り組んだ経験をお持ちの方から、当時の体験を書面にて提供していただくことができた。また、研究代表者は、第７０回全国作文教育研究大会ｉｎ大阪に参加し、「生活綴方・作文教育の歴史に学ぶ」をテーマとする分科会に出席し、社会運動史・文化運動史の研究の方法を学んだ。２月１８日には、研究代表者および研究協力者による研究会を開催した。辻田文書・藤並文書の整理作業の進捗状況とを確認するとともに、陳稀棟が「戦後日本における教職員の活動と都市地域社会―大阪の学校白書運動を中心に―」をテーマに報告し、戦後社会運動史、教員組合運動史をめぐって検討した。
