英文摘要
Study of sexual behavior of commercial sex workers (CSWs) and their clients was performed in the capital region of Cambodia in fiscal 1995 and 1996. In this year, expansive study was performed in Bantey Mean Chey province, Cambodia. In order to identify the relationship between sexual behavior and HIV/STDA sero-prevalence, the study surveyed HIV antibody, Hepatitis B antigen (HB-Ag) and antiboddy (HB-Ab) Chlamydia trachomatis antibode, and TPHA for the CWSs, in addition to sexual behavior of CSWs and their clients. Survey on sexual behavior was finished by Cambodian cooperative researchers in Jun 1997. Data were gathered in a questionnaire survey of 204 direct commercial sex workers (DCSWs), 96 Indirect commercial sex workers (ICSWs), and 200clients. A researcher who was invited from Cambodia analyzed these data with Japanese researchers at Tottori University in August.Serological examination of HIV screening test (EIA), TPHA,HB-Ag.HB-Ab were performed by Cambodian researchers in Phnom-Penh. Sero-positive rate of HIV (EIA), TPHA,HB-Ag, HB-Ab among DCSWs were 54%, 8%, 9% and 35%, respectively. The rate of them among ICSWs were 23%, 3%.5%, and 34%, respectively. Positive rate of TPHA among DCSWs and ICSWs who infected with HIV were 11.2% and 9.5%, respectively.Serological examination of HIV confirmation test (Western-Blot) and Chlamydia trachomatis antibody (CT-Ab) were performed in Japan. Sero-positive rate of CT-Ab among DCSWs and ICSWs were 81.7% and 55.3%, respectively. Positive rate of CT-Ab among DCSWs and ICSWs who infected with HIV were 89.9% and 85.7%, respectively. This result was suggestive about the relation of HIV and Chlamydia infection.
