今年度の研究は,江戸初期柳営御物を記載する名物記類と,江戸末期の柳営御物集に関して行った.その結果,これまで知られていなかった次のような事実が明らかとなった.1) 万治三年刊行名物記として著名な「玩貨名物記」は,正保三年の柳営御物の状況を反映している.2) 通称[柳営御物集]と称される江戸末期の御物集は,虫干しのマニュアルである.3) 寛永二十一年から明暦三年までの柳営御物202件が確定された.特に,何番長持ちに所蔵されていたかまで決定できる.4) これら202件の柳営御物を記載する写本刊本類を,その成立系統に分類できる.5) 江戸末期柳営御物集にしばしば記載される金銭評価がどのように行われたかが[銅御蔵御掛絵御歌書極代付帳]の発見によって明らかとなった.6) 地誌書「江戸鹿子」所載[諸大名名物記]は従来玩貨名物記から作成されたと思われていたが,実は詳馬大学新田文庫写本の系統から生じたことが解った.7) 万治元年刊行名物記と延宝頃の「新古珍器集」という未紹介の刊本を発見した.これらの処理においては,補助手段として数量化類が極めて有効であった.結果の詳細は,「君台観左右帳記の総合研究」として発刊した.また,諸家名物の部分については,分担者竹内順一との共著論文が,茶道学大系 第十巻(淡交社)に掲載される予定である.これらの結果によって,従来史料批判も十分でなかった江戸初期名物記に対する確固たる足場が出来たものと考えている.
