英文摘要
The Four Pillars app helps people fulfil their potential. It aids users to define their higher purpose, empower them to improve their physical and mental health and then guide them on a journey of self actualisation. The four pillars to which the name refers are psychology, exercise, sleep and nutrition. They can be seen like the tumblers in the lock of your potential. Each pillar will have its own functionality. The psychology pillar will have tools that'll help you log your daily journey and keep your mind serene. The exercise pillar will help you monitor your exercise, encourage personal bests and will tailor the plan and motivation to you. The sleep pillar will help track your sleep to maximise the regenerative cycles by helping you assess what factors in your life have an impact. The nutrition pillar will help you get to your ideal weight and ensure that you take on all the nutrients required to obtain your goals. Our app will guide you on the journey offering articles, help and encouragement. The secret to success is consistency of purpose. The app is simple and entertaining to use, encouraging daily use to help you get what you want out of life.We understand that everyone is unique. Not only in their hopes and aspirations but in their genealogy. Our app will learn what works for you and then tailor the experience and advice accordingly. This is the beginning of our story and would like to thank Innovation UK for believing in our vision and funding the inception of our project. The vision that mental health is as much to do with your nutrition, exercise and sleep as any external factors in your life. The vision that the symbiotic relationship between human and phone presents a wondrous opportunity for self improvement. The vision that we can put the improvement of health and mental wellbeing into the hands of our users. It is said that happiness is the gap between reality and expectations. Some say lower your expectations. We say change your reality.
